Hi, I had around 250 clownfish fry that was 4 weeks old.
I started to loose a few everyday. I was feeding them baby
brine shrimp and rotifers. I think I was over feeding them.
The belly was orange and they looked healthy. I siphone the aquarium three times a day. I replace the water with new saltwater that I have made up in another aquarium. The salt level and PH was the same as the fry tank. How many baby brine shrimp would you feed them each feeding? I was feeding them at 6:00AM,12:00PM and 6:00PM. Thank you,Sam

What does the brine shrinp eat or do you not feed them?

You can turn the lights out when ever you want on hatch night and the clownfish fry will begin to hatch about 30-45 minutes after darkness. Make sure it is total darkness in the room and everything. Good luck keep us posted in the forum.

Is there a way you can trick them into thinking its night so they can hatch while we are awake??? Will the other fish eat the fry? Also will the mom and dad fry eat them? thank-you

I use an airline hose and carefully vacuum the bottom. If I do accidently suck up a fry I scoop him back into the tank.

How do you vacuum the bottem of the tank when the fry are in the tank?
