Aloha, my clownfish, which I've had for about 5 years , have finally laid eggs 5 days ago. I've been keeping them alone in a 10 gallon for the past year because they were harassing the other fish in my larger tank. I've been reading alot about breeding and was wondering if I could transfer the eggs, which are on a magnetic glass cleaner, into a net breeder and keep it in the 10 gallon with the parents. I would transfer them when I can see the eyes showing, and could place an airstone under or next to them if necessary. The mesh is like panty hose and they couldn't get out . I'm just wondering how small the rotifers are and if they would escape the net breeder. I'm thinking I could keep the filter going and wonder if it would be better to have the net breeder directly across from it or off to the side for less current. Has anyone had good results this way?
