Breed Clownfish | Saltwater Fish

I am waiting on my babies to hatch. Received my rotifers from Reed today. How do you know that there are rotifers living in the water? How do you know when they die?

Its hard to tell. They look like little specks of dust in the a white cup to me and if your green water you feed them disapears you know something is eating it. I wondered the same thing. Also they look alittle pink/orange when you collect them in a coffee filter.
