How do I know if I have a pair?

Postby keithrett » Mon Jul 27, 2009 1:20 am

I have two percula clownfish that I have had for about a year and a few months now and was wondering how I can check if they are a pair. One is a great bit larger than the other and the small one twitches for the dominance thing. They seem to get along well and always stay near each other. They have not bred yet and I was also wondering if I should something that will help them out.(like something to put in the tank) I am new to this and I apologize for asking very basic questions. Thanks,
Keith

A flower pot(clay) or a tile for them to lay the eggs on. A happy tank without tank mates that bother them too much. They usually pick one area and claim it and run everything else off even your hand if you bother the area. I didn't know mine paired up until they layed eggs I have 3 clowns and other fish and stuff in my tank. A good diet is good for them also.
