Postby K L R » Mon Aug 17, 2009 12:38 pm

I have to fancy (more black and orange) ocellaris clownfish that have chosen their gender. . . They are both healthy and in a 75 gal tank with some other fish. . I need help on how to get them to breed and getting the female to lay eggs. . How do I do this?

Thanks :D

Your question I think has already been asked befor, you could maybe find better information in one of those already done. Anyway the main parts are the clowns must be happy and feel safe in the tank. No preditors that will bother them. A good well balance diet and good water. You can put a small tile or a flower pot for them to lay the eggs on. They will lay were they please rocks or whatever. Mine lay on a rock. They will defind the area for awhile before they lay from other fish and your hand. Good luck!
