For the first time I didn't try to collect the fry, 1 because part of them hatched 1 night early and I don't like doing 2 night hatches muchless 3 night hatches. Also it was a small batch and I've had alot going on 2 kids playing scoccer, teaching childbirth classes, the kids had the flu, did Halloween party for kids :) with a haunted trail and hay ride, flooding everywhere her in lower Arkansas, more time on the road due to roads flooded and we had tornados hit all around on one day. We had to evacuate patients at our hospital :o to the hallways, the schools held the children for about 2 hrs while 2 waves hit us, the fire academy got hit lots of damage spread out, my mom and dads house had alot of trees down as one went by their house and took the office off the house next door, carports gone and trees fell on other houses. Thankfully nobody was killed or injured. Anyway the other fry are growing and the color is slowly getting darker. Rotifers, I guess they are OK I feed them some off and on out of rotifer diet now. No new eggs.

Well for some reason only 9 fry made it from the hatch , but as of today only one is left ? the tank is full of rotifers so he`s not going to starve:) well hope the next batch will be better !

Hi! Sorry, I haven't been chatting much, been busy.
My clowns stopped laying. I did a big water change last week hopefully that will help. I have about 10-15 babies ready to sale. Hopefully I'll have time to take them somewhere this week or next week. I haven't messed with the rotifers much. I did feed them once last week.

Way to go   I still don't have any eggs at this time. But :D I did sell 18 baby clown fish on Thurs. at $5.00 each. By the time I got there only one employee left who wasn't autherized to get cash out so he said I could trade or come back another day.I was all to happy to trade and spend a litle extra. 1 female tiger eal, 1star fish, 1 dog face puffer, 5 crabs, 2 large snails, 1 fighting conch and some kind of coral I forgot the name. Also frozen food and antibiotic just incase something gets sick and its a 2 hr drive to any fish store. Yes I'm avery happy camper. :D :D

Not bad Alanna, sometimes the mated pair need a break :) mine did that for a few weeks ,but are busy every two weeks now . I can tell when she is ready to lay eggs ,she really gets fat !
I still have `nt sold any of my clowns yet ! If this batch does well the tank is going to be very crowded :)
So far this morning fifty fry didnt make it , but the tank is swarming with tons of fry , I have loaded the tank with lots of rotifers and I will probaby add some every day after I do the tank cleaning and water changes . With this many fry it`s going to be a must ! so I`m ready for some extra work that is ahead of me ;) Today I will be working on my rotifer cultures , cleaning and using new mixed salt water . I am lowering the SG to 1.017 which seems to breed more rotifers . So far my culture has been going for 4 months now .
