My eggs is greenish colour issit unhealthy or ?
this is my first batch since i bought them on 2007 ;)
now i just wonder when it will hatch cause i dont know when they laying their eggs " i was out station for few days i could see their eye but it says on e forum white colour eggs right? but mine is green .. oh! could someone tell me is normal?
and btw im from malaysia i couldnt find and rotifers around my country well! i mean those shop i know that selling marine stuff .. and the store tells my feeding them with shrime ..
but i read the forum say .. 1% - 2% survive oni .. that means 1 or 2 fry but maybe 0 :cry:

they look normal to me i think they are about 4 to 5 days i would leave them to see what happens they should turn silver soon

They will hatch in 6-7days , if you know when the clowns layed the eggs , but when the eggs get silver eyes about 1/3 of them they will hatch that night or the next night ! but those eggs look to be about 3days old if they have black eyes . you can try feeding them frozen rotifers (BIO_PURE) from Hikari,product of China . it is better then nothing . if you can keep the fry alive for the first 5 days ,then feed them live baby brine shrimp . you can hatch them in 24 hours .

I see! i thought is unhealthy cause they say should be orange colour :)
but now the problem is .. those product rotifers is not available at Kuala Lumpur area.. :cry:
the oni food i can feed them is baby shrimp now .. now i see some is silver eye n some still black
ahh! they will hatch saparately sometimes right? should i take out to breeding tank first?

my eggs have never been orange , mine have always been a grayish color !
once you get most with silver eyes , they will hatch that night ! Once it is all dark the fry will hatch , if you can move the rock to the hatching tank with an air stone if the rock is small enough.
