clownfhish larvae fungus

Hello, if someone can help me ...
I have a couple of clownfish ocellaris that are spawning for 90 days every 10 days. The couple is in a tank of 50 liters and the spawning takes place in tile cabin type.
My problem: if I leave the eggs on the seventh night they were born and go to the sump, and shot before the seventh night they fungus the next day. I've tried everything in the tank of larvae, 100% of aquarium water of the couple, 20% new water, 40% new water, 60% of new water and still fungus. I do not know what else to try. The aquarium of larvae has 20 liters, heating, lighting 9w, oxygenation, rotifers. I have already put the tile lying, standing, prone .... and nothing !!!!!

It's probably not a fungus. If you take the eggs out before they hatch but don't care for them properly they will die. When they do, they will turn white and it will look like a fungus, but it is not. What you can do to avoid this is to get an air stone under the eggs to keep the water moving and to keep them clean. You want to make it strong enough to "wash" the eggs, but not strong enough to make them come off the tile. The bubbles should be medium size or bigger - NEVER use fine bubbles on eggs or fish larvae or they can stick to the fish and kill them.

If you want to leave the eggs in the main tank until they hatch, you need to turn off all the pumps and filters on the night they will hatch. Most ocellaris will hatch in 7 or 8 days at 78F. You can then catch the larvae that night if you use a flashlight to attract them and scoop them out with a cup. This works very well, but I prefer to hatch the eggs separately.

Always use 100% water from the main tank. Do not change any water for at least 4 days, and when you do change water for the larvae, replace it with water from the main tank. Don't add newly mixed sea water for at least 3 weeks, and start by adding a little bit at a time. The babies need time to get used to the chemistry change. Don't worry about the pH too much. The only thing that's important is ammonia and nitrite. You can use Prime or AmQuel to control it if you need.

Good luck!

Hello UNIXMan,
Thanks for the tip. I'm with spawning this week and I'll follow your advice. I give you a return next week.
Thank you!
