Clown's Going Crazy

Hi All,

First of all great site, very imformative for us Nub's. Anyways, I bought a pair of percs a couple of months ago. And since I've got them I've only feed them flake but after much reading and research I decided to change the diet around based on what I've found. As of yesterday I started feeding them a mixture of mysis, chopped krill and brine supplemented with a good quality flake.

Now today those two have been going crazy. Kinda like hyper active kids doped up on sugar. They've always been really calm until today. And the smaller one, presuming he's the male skids through the sand kicking everything up in the area they sleep. Really wierd. Any thoughts as to what is going on?

Kicking up sand and swimming around like crazy is normal. It doesn't really sound like breeding activity. They might just have more energy from the wonderful care you are providing. They love the treats you have feeding them and it is helping them to feel more comfortable in the tank. Just be careful not to over feed them. Glad you are enjoying the site. Keep us posted if your fish start breeding.
